Prefers fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny spot, ideally where roses have not been previously grown. If planting in a container, choose a deep pot as roses grow long roots. When planting, mix rose fertiliser into the soil after digging the hole. Try to avoid disturbing the root ball as much as possible.
Care tips
Water regularly until established and in dry weather. To keep the rose compact, prune in winter, cutting back around half the growth of the previous year. Removing dead and faded flowers ensures repeat flowering all summer.
