Cirsium rivulae 'Frosted Magic'
Ornamental/Plume Thistle

Garden plant for the flowerbed in moist but well drained soil. Good in cottage style gardens. Ideal for naturalistic/ wildflower gardens or when mixed with ornamental grasses.

Upright clump-forming perennial with prickly thistle-like foliage. Tall stems bear pristine whie flowers all summer long which are nectar and pollen rich. Can be cut back in Autumn to prevent self-seeding or, if left in tact, will provide a good winter food source for birds.
