Garden plant for flower bed in moist or well-drained soil in full sun. Also suitable in boggy soil, and waterside. Good in beds, borders, marginal planting, coastal gardens.

An extremely hardy and low maintenance perennial. Clump-forming strap like grey-green leaves. Tall stems bear elegant and eye-catching flowers, like grey-green leaves. Wonderful deep coppery-red flowers in late spring and early summer. Attractive to bees and a good cut flower.
