Europe. Sterile fronds 30 x 3cm, spreading. Sporing fronds 40 x 3cm erect. A very common fern of acid woodland in moderate to high rainfall areas. Difficult to grow in other areas.

Evergreen growing to 50cm high.
More than 10,000 varieties of ferns are found all over the world. Ferns reproduce by spores. They filter polluted air and produce pure oxygen.
Care: The plant should not be placed in full sun but should receive much light indirectly. Water sufficiently to keep the soil moist.
