Polystichum setiferum

Evergreen, height to 150cm. A very stately native fern and one of the easiest to grow. It seems to grow virtually anywhere except waterlogged spots. Happy in shade or sun and not fussy about soil types. To grow the largest specimens grow in well drained, fertile soil in partial shade.                 Back to main ferns page Top of page
