Hosta 'Yakushima Mizu'
A flattish, diffuse around 14in wide x 6½in high (35 x 16cm). Leaf blade 2¾ x ¾in (7 x 2cm), thin, mid- to shiny dark green, edge rippled, leaf lanceolate with an acute tip and tapered lobes. Petiole pale green, appearing to pierce the blade. Flower funnel-shaped, lavender, sparsely disposed on an upright, bare, green, 10in (25cm) scape in the late summer; fertile.
Cultivation Notes : Site in dappled to full shade. Suitable as an edging along a raised border.
