Stachys byzantina 'Lambs Ear'
Garden plant for front of border as groundcover, also suitable for gravel garden in sun on well drained soil.
A low, spreading evergreen perennial. It has soft woolly light-grey leaves and, in mid-summer, produces downy spikes of small light purple flowers which are appealing to bees.
