Rose (hybrid tea)
'A Whiter Shade of Pale'
A very healthy, repeat-flowering rose with shapely, double-form flowers of blush pink on long stems suitable for cutting and arranging.
Height & Spread: 90cm x 90cm
Flowering Season: July - October
Planting Position: Full sun
Planting: Choose a sheltered area with rich, well-drained soil. Avoid areas where roses have been planted before. Mix plenty of fertiliser into the soil as you dig a hole that will comfortably hold the root ball.
Care: Water regularly in dry weather and apply rose feed once a month. Spray with a mixture of tomato food, garlic juice and fungicide - ideally once a month. Cut back in winter removing around half the growth of the previous year. Dead or faded flowers should be removed to aid repeat flowering.
